This page sets out main LE32b450C4 Technical Information.

Explained here are what the main specifications mean in layman's terms.

The 32b450 LCD (Liquid Crystal Display) is a digital display that uses liquid crystal cells, that change reflectivity in an applied electric field, to display images, whereas Plasma displays use a complex gas-based system in which each pixel on the screen is illuminated by a tiny bit of plasma or charged gas, somewhat like a tiny neon light.

32" refers to the screen size. Screen size is the size of your TV screen, measured diagonally in inches.

The 32B450 Aspect Ratio is 16.9 and this ratio refers to the dimensions of the display of a television. 16.9 produces a rectangular, widescreen display.

The viewing angle of the 32b450 is 178/178 and this is the maximum side angle from which the viewer can see the screen clearly.

The 32b450 has both HDMI and DVI connectivity. HDMI (High Definition Multimedia Interface) and DVI (Digital Visual Interface) connectors transmit any level of video signal digitally, for the best picture quality. The HDMI interface also carries audio signals, making it very convenient.

It is HDTV Ready (High-definition television) which means that the TV can receive a HD-signal (720p/1080i) and display it.

The LE32b450C4 has Picture in Picture (PIP) which allows you to watch more than one channel at the same time. With PIP, one channel will be displayed on the entire TV screen, and another channel or channels will be displayed on smaller squares on the screen.

Clearview provides 160-degree-wide view without compromising clarity and users can enjoy clear view even outdoors without backlight. Unlike permeable LCD’s in the market which can not provide clear view under the sunlight even with backlight, the semi-permeable screen offers ideal conditions for viewers under any circumstances.
